Students should also spend time expanding their knowledge on topics related to "technology" in order to have better supporting ideas in both Writing and Speaking modules.
As you may have already noticed, talking and/or writing about technology and its future application in society has become very common in recent IELTS tests. For this reason, I suggest all students to read more and get extra knowledge and/or vocabularies to make their answers look even better and more convincing.
Students should always try to impress the examiners by properly using vocabulary that is specifically used in particular subjects. Thanks to Wikipedia and countless websites, students nowadays have tons of free information that they can easily gather and learn by themselves. Below are just a few examples that I find very helpful:
